“Since U Been Gone” is one of those songs that seems like a great idea to sing at karaoke, until you actually try doing it. Yeah, everyone knows it and loves to sing along, but there’s just no way you’ll come anywhere close to sounding like Kelly Clarkson.
Usually, it just ends up sounding like nails on a chalkboard, something Jimmy Fallon proved on “The Tonight Show” Monday night.
While Clarkson schooled them all with her incredible live vocals, Trainor didn’t do too shabby herself. Meanwhile, Shaquille O’Neil, Oliver and Brosnahan did, uh, great with the air guitar solos?
