We walked into the Shaq Fu Radio Studios early this morning & Google gave us a big scare. The headlines were from Sussex County, VA – Police there were investigating a fatal car crash involving Shaquille O’Neal….Delk.
There in that split second it wasn’t clear that the last name of the person killed was Delk. Delk? “My God Man!” I exclaimed. A Man name Shaquille O’Neal was killed in a 09 Mercury Grand Marquis. That should have been a clue it wasn’t our Shaquille O’Neal in the 09 Mercury. Thank the Lord!
Our deepest sympathy to the family of Shaquille O’Neal Delk who’s car spun out of control on Route 602 Saturday killing Delk. Shaquille O’Neal Delk was 25 years old.
There are many Shaquille O’Neal namesakes around the world and some “Shaq’s reach some level of fame. There is an ok Rapper named Shaq, some popular athletes named “Shaq” and lots of every day people with the name Shaquille.
It’s sad to see a young man pass at such a young age no matter his name but this kid was named Shaquille O’Neal Delk and it gave us a real shock this day. God Speed little Shaq.
