Sure, we’re all dealing with self-imposed (and sometimes forced) in-home quarantines and other big-time challenges due to the spreading coronavirus around the world. Yet even in difficult times, there are moments of joy and happiness…and Shaq and family are definitely showing off some (wink) interesting ways to have fun while staying home.

Sure, there’s been talk about the crazy goings-on at the O’Neal house during the quarantine…but now (drum roll, please) we finally have some real, live, video proof of what’s going on behind the closed doors.
A tweet has appeared on various social media platforms of a video taken in Shaq’s kitchen… except rather than a little dinner party, this video shows the Big Man putting on a dance party…the kind we’d see Shaq’s alter ego – DJ Diesel – hosting at major party and concert venues. The audience was a grand total of four people: Shaq’s sons Shareef and Shaqir O’Neal, along with stepson Myles O’Neal and nephew Gregory Jordan.
Check out the video below…it’s crazy! Once the beat drops, all five of them go wild, with Shareef and Gregory removing their shirts and taking turns jumping and dancing atop the kitchen counter. Thankfully Shaq stayed off the furniture. At 7-foot-1 and certainly north of 300 pounds, that would no doubt have been a very bad thing (for the furniture, at least).
Shareef O’Neal tweeted the video with the caption “We gotta do all this when we’re with my dad.. my mama don’t play that :'(“
As for Shaq, he posted a few comments to his Instagram account. In the background you can hear ‘Down” by Marian Hill. The post came with the caption:

It’s been a busy week – social media-wise – for the O’Neal household. Just a few days before this latest video, Shaq posted another of he and his sons dancing in a funny video on Instagram.
That’s not all… Shaq has issued a bit of a challenge to other NBA stars to post their own home videos during the quarantine. He’s named stars such as Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Joel Embiid, Damian Lillard, Dwyane Wade, and Dwight Howard. No official replies yet from the others, but we’ll have to see what develops. Stay tuned!
