Is it possible for our man Shaq to get any bigger? Well, maybe not physically… but there’s always room for adding to his story. now there’s word of a brand new documentary coming to HBO in just a few weeks.
This show is a four part ”docuseries. ”It premieres November 23. Not surprisingly, it’s simply called “Shaq.“
It should be really interesting! HBO has managed to put together interesting and exclusive interviews with not only O’Neil himself, but also a long list of friends and family members.
In a press release, HBO says the show will include Shaq‘s rise to NBA superstardom, along with his life after basketball. As a regular reader of the ShaqFu Radio blog, you already know that O’Neil has quite a wide ranging business empire, including investments in restaurants and many other businesses.
Check in with Shaq’s Inside the NBA program on the TNT Network for some advance clips, and no doubt plenty of interesting commentary from Sir Charles, Kenny Smith and ‘ Ernie Johnson.
The series includes new interviews with Dwyane Wade, Derek Fisher, Jerry West and Phil Jackson, among other former colleagues of O’Neal’s.
Family members featured in the series include O’Neal’s mother Dr. Lucille O’Neal, siblings Jamal and Lateefah Harrison and three of his children — Taahirah, Shareef and Myles.
We can’t wait to check it out! While the series premieres in late November, it will be available on HBO and HBO max after that time, so you can see it at your leisure.
